Vaughn Cochran Vaughn Cochran Shirts Vaughn Cochran Accessories   Vaughn earned a degree in Ceramics in the Fine Arts. But didn't begin his career as an artist until after many life experiences. In 1972 Vaughn came to Key West an worked as a commercial hook and line fisherman. Then in the early 1980's Vaughn and his wife Jean lived in Mexico and ran a Wholesale Tour Company. Then on to Costa Rica where they ran a Tarpon Lodge. In 1991 Vaughn and Jean returned to the Lower Florida Keys and Vaughn started his backcountry guide services and began painting the gamefish that we enjoy now on Hats, T-shirts, coffee mugs, and license plates. One Vaughn's signatures is the "Black Fly" design. Vaughn allowed Sea Boots Outfitters to use one of his Black Fly designs for our logo. For more information on Vaughn Cochran's products continue on.
