Capt. Jim carries a United States Coast Guard Masters Captains License and has logged more than 50 years of experience in the Florida Straights and Gulf Stream. Our mate is also equally experienced in people and fishing skills together they have 130 years of experience on the water. Our 43-foot sport fisherman the Sea Boots specializes in all types of Offshore Fishing Charters. We fish for snapper, grouper, mackerel, cobia, wahoo, tuna, sail, marlin and shark depending on what our anglers want to catch and which species are available. Weather you are entertaining Corporate Cliental or enjoying a nice day on the water with family and friends you can count on friendly, courteous and professional treatment at Sea Boots. Our equipment is the best from spin to trolling gear. Fishing techniques change with the feeding habits of our game fish, slow trolling live baits during some seasons or trolling with dead bait or lures during others. Sight casting baits with spin tackle is certainly one of our most exciting methods but must match the season.

In order to confirm your charter reservation a 150.00 deposit is required. We accept money orders or check for deposit, payment with credit cards is accepted once you arrive (We do not Accept American Express). We have a seven day cancelation policy.
A check or money order for $l50.00 deposit can be mailed to Sea Boots at P.O. Box 421203, Summerland Key, Fl. 33042.

Charter rates

Half day 700.00 (4-hours)
Three quarter day 900.00 (6-hours)
Full day 1100.00 (8-hours)
* Extended hours are done in the summer for deep adventures into the Gulf Stream or whale watching. 1100.00 plus 100.00 for each additional hour.

IMPORTANT
United States Coast Guard regulations do not allow us to carry more than six passengers.

What do you need to bring?
All you need is your food and drink for the day. We supply a cooler for your food and drink, tackle, bait, ice and fishing licenses for everyone onboard.

Sea Boots Charters was born out of Capt. Jim's love for big game fishing and his compassion for all the professional's (doctor's, Lawyers, nurses, fire fighters and policeman) working in high stress environment. Taking fishing to the leading edge was Capt. Jim's stress relief during and after riding Medical Rescue with Metro Dade Fire Rescue in Miami for 28 years.
